Research Analyst - Private Placements, Structured Credit

You will be joining AllianceBernstein (AB), a prominent global investment management firm renowned for providing high-quality research and diversified investment services to institutional clients, individuals, and private clients across major markets worldwide. Within the AB Private Alternatives team, AB Structured Private Placements serves as a strategic vertical managing over $50 billion of assets under management (AUM). The focus of AB Structured Private Placements lies in delivering value-added investment portfolio solutions to institutional clients, primarily within the insurance industry. The solutions offered play a crucial role in enhancing the competitive positioning and meeting the asset liability management needs of our insurance company clients. As part of this role, your responsibilities will include ongoing monitoring of portfolio companies, updating and maintaining portfolio company financial reporting models, creating quarterly valuation and portfolio management materials, and handling ad-hoc projects such as legal tracking, industry research, comps projects, KPI tracking, data validation, and report generation. Additionally, you will provide support to the credit team in managing portfolio company active deal work, including amendments and upsizes.
