Role & responsibilities

1. IPO & Capital Market Research

• Analyze IPO opportunities including review of DRHP / RHP, financial statements, business models, risk factors, and valuation benchmarks.
• Conduct peer comparison and industry analysis for IPO and listed companies.
• Track IPO pipeline, issue pricing, allotment, and post-listing performance.
• Prepare research notes, investment summaries, and management presentations.

2. NBFC & Financial Sector Analysis

• Conduct financial and operational analysis of NBFCs and financial institutions.
• Review asset quality, NPA trends, capital adequacy, liquidity, and regulatory ratios.
• Monitor RBI guidelines, prudential norms, and regulatory changes impacting NBFCs.
• Assist in credit assessment and risk evaluation of lending entities.

3. Financial Markets Research

• Track equity, debt, mutual funds, fixed income, and other market instruments.
• Monitor macroeconomic indicators, interest rate movements, and policy developments.
• Analyze company financials, ratios, cash flows, and valuation metrics.

4. Financial Modelling & MIS Reporting

• Develop and maintain financial models, projections, and scenario analysis.
• Prepare MIS, dashboards, variance analysis, and performance reports for management.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and feasibility studies

Preferred candidate profile

Experienced Research Analyst with strong expertise in IPO and capital market research, NBFC and financial sector analysis, and comprehensive financial markets tracking. Skilled in analyzing DRHP/RHP documents, financial statements, business models, risk factors, and valuations for IPOs and listed companies. Proficient in peer comparison, industry analysis, and monitoring IPO pipelines, pricing, allotments, and post-listing performance.

Hands-on experience in financial and operational analysis of NBFCs, including asset quality assessment, NPA trends, capital adequacy, liquidity, and regulatory compliance. Well-versed with RBI guidelines, prudential norms, and regulatory developments impacting the financial sector.

Strong analytical capabilities in equity, debt, mutual funds, fixed income instruments, and macroeconomic indicators. Adept at financial modelling, projections, scenario analysis, MIS reporting, dashboards, budgeting, forecasting, and feasibility studies. Capable of preparing research notes, investment summaries, and management presentations to support informed decision-making.
