Role Overview

Our client is looking for a sharp, data-driven Market Research Analyst & Strategist to join our team.

This role is designed for a high-potential individual who bridges the gap between raw market data and actionable business growth. You will be responsible for dissecting market trends, forecasting future landscapes, and helping leadership craft the strategies that will define our competitive edge.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Research & Intelligence

  • Conduct comprehensive primary and secondary research to identify emerging industry trends and competitor movements.
  • Utilize advanced research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative) to gather insights into customer behavior and market gaps.
  • Perform SWOT, PESTLE, and Porters Five Forces analyses to evaluate the macro and micro environment.

2. Market Projection & Modeling

  • Develop data-driven market projections and financial forecasts to support product launches and geographic expansions.
  • Analyze historical data to predict future market demand and potential revenue streams.
  • Translate complex datasets into visual dashboards and reports for executive review.

3. Strategy Development

  • Assist in formulating business strategies that align with long-term company goals.
  • Develop Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies and market entry frameworks for new initiatives.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and suggest strategic improvements to enhance ROI.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior management with clarity and conviction.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 6 months to 2 years of professional experience in market research, management consulting, or a strategic planning role.
  • Analytical Rigor: Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel is a must; experience with SQL, Tableau, or PowerBI is a strong plus).
  • Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to think several steps ahead and understand the "big picture" impact of small market shifts.
  • Methodological Expertise: Strong grasp of various research frameworks and the ability to design surveys or interview guides.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to "story-tell" using data.
