Required PhD qualified faculty specialized in Finance

Maharana Pratap Group of Institutions (MPGI) invites applications from highly qualified, dynamic, and dedicated professionals for the position of Assistant / Associate Professor in the MBA Department with a specialization in Finance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic foundation, proven teaching skills, and a commitment to high-quality research and student mentorship. Preference will be given to candidates holding a Ph.D. in Finance or a closely related discipline, reflecting the institution’s emphasis on academic excellence and research-oriented learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach core and elective courses in Finance and related areas at the postgraduate (MBA) level.
• Design, develop, and continuously improve curriculum content to align with current industry trends and academic advancements.
• Mentor and guide MBA students in academic projects, internships, and research activities.
• Undertake high-quality research leading to publications in reputed journals.
• Participate actively in departmental and institutional committees, academic events, and professional development activities.
• Foster industry–academia linkages to enhance experiential learning and research opportunities.
• Contribute to the overall academic growth and reputation of MPGI.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Finance from a recognized university (strongly preferred).
• Candidates with MBA / Master’s degree in Finance and relevant teaching and research experience may also be considered.
• Proven record of effective teaching at the postgraduate level (MBA / PGDM).
• Demonstrated ability to conduct research and publish in reputed academic journals.
• Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
• Commitment to academic excellence, student engagement, and continuous learning.

Desirable Attributes:

• Experience in supervising postgraduate or doctoral research.
• Exposure to case-based, experiential, and technology-enabled teaching methods.
• Participation in conferences, workshops, or training programs related to Finance and Management.
• Active involvement in curriculum design, consultancy, or industry collaborations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
