Job Description

We are seeking skilled professionals to modernize reporting operations, optimize data flows, and drive automation across enterprise reporting platforms. This role is ideal for candidates with 49 years of experience in finance reporting and a passion for transformational reporting and data initiatives. Immediate joiners or candidates with up to 30-day notice period will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Assessment:
Plan and support discovery workshops and perform current-state assessments of reporting operations.
Documentation:
Document existing reporting processes, data sources, tools, and manual interventions.
Process Optimization:
Identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and automation opportunities; define clear objectives for optimized end-state reporting processes.
Solution Architecture:
Assist in developing solution architecture for the reporting platform and its integration with existing systems.
Reporting Design:
Support the design of reporting templates, workflows, and data connectors; build report templates aligned with organizational standards.
Data Integration & Validation:
Design and plan data integration workflows; implement validation rules to ensure data accuracy and quality.
User Acceptance & Training:
Facilitate UAT sessions and deliver end-user training programs for smooth transition to the new system.

Required Education & Qualifications:

CA / CPA (US) / ACCA (UK) / MBA with 49 years of relevant experience

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

Strong knowledge of Finance Reporting including Financial Close Reporting, SEC Reporting, iXBRL Tagging, ESG Reporting, Tax Reporting, SOX & other regulatory/statutory reporting.
Proficiency in Workiva (Wdesk, Wdata), Axiom, or similar reporting platforms.
Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Alteryx) preferred.
Strong understanding of data integration, transformation, and data modeling.
Hands-on experience in As-Is analysis, To-Be design, process optimization, and data analytics.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver high-quality outputs.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

Prior experience implementing automation in reporting processes.
Exposure to advanced reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics solutions.
