Roles & Responsibilities

ETL Design & Development

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems.
  
• Optimize ETL workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  

Data Integration

• Build and manage data integration solutions involving structured and unstructured data.
  
• Work with APIs, databases, and flat files for data ingestion and processing.
  

Data Transformation

• Clean, standardize, and transform raw data to meet business and reporting requirements.
  
• Apply data validation, enrichment, and aggregation techniques.
  

Data Warehouse & Reporting Support

• Support the design and development of data warehouse models (star/snowflake schemas).
  
• Create and manage database objects such as tables, views, and stored procedures.
  

Kafka & Streaming

• Work hands-on with Kafka for real-time data ingestion.
  
• Manage Kafka topics and ensure smooth data flow across systems.
  

Databases (RDBMS & NoSQL)

• Work with relational databases such as

  Oracle and PostgreSQL

  .
• Exposure to NoSQL databases like

  MongoDB

  is a plus.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

• Monitor ETL jobs and data pipelines for failures or data inconsistencies.
  
• Implement error-handling, logging, and recovery mechanisms.
  

Required Experience

• 46 years of experience in ETL development, data migration, or reporting roles
  
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools / frameworks
  
• Working knowledge of Kafka and database systems
  
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills
  

Good to Have

• Experience in large-scale data migration projects
  
• Exposure to cloud-based data platforms
  
• Reporting and analytics support experience
