Reporting Analyst

Job Description

Responsibilities and Key Competencies Develop and maintain dashboards and visual reports using Power BI (or other relevant reporting tools) Write efficient SQL queries to extract and transform data Collaborate with business analysts to deliver on business reporting requirements Perform data validation, quality assurance, and troubleshooting to ensure data integrity Monitor performance of BI solutions and optimize as needed Work closely with data engineering to maintain and enhance data models and pipelines Provide ad hoc analysis and insights to support business initiatives Train end-users on self-service BI tools and promote data-driven decision-making Key Competencies Attention to detail and data accuracy Business acumen and curiosity Team collaboration and cross-functional communication Initiative and ability to manage multiple priorities. Skills & Experience Required 4+ years of experience in a data or reporting analyst role Proficiency in Power BI Strong SQL skills, with proven experience querying large / complex datasets Experience working with data visualization best practices Understanding of data modelling and ETL/ELT processes Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and agile methodologies a plus Experience querying SQL Server databases, Snowflake desirable Experience working with SSAS Tabular Models Familiarity with data governance and security best practices
