Roles & Responsibilities: -

Cover on-ground events, press conferences

Conduct interviews, gather facts, and verify sources for accuracy.

Write clear, engaging, and error-free news reports or features on tight deadlines.

Pitch story ideas relevant to the publication's audience.

Coordinate with photographers, videographers, and external sources when required.

Edit incoming stories for grammar, clarity, accuracy, and journalistic style.

Write compelling headlines and sub-headlines.

Coordinate with reporters and ensure timely submission of stories.

Prioritize stories for layout and help plan the daily pages.

Work closely with the design team to finalize the print layout.

Ensure factual accuracy and adherence to the publication’s standards and ethics.

Education and Experience Required: -

Educational Qualifications: Graduation degree in any discipline preferably in English with degree or diploma in journalism/mass communication

Experience – 0 to 1 year

Knowledge and Skills:

Language skills

Well-read and proficient in written and spoken English.

Good news sense.

Tech savvy to keep up with the new software’s being introduced.
