Repair and Maintenance Operator

Role Overview: As a Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibility will be to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. You will troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, coordinate with production teams to minimize operational disruptions, and provide technical support to junior operators and technicians. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, report critical equipment failures, and ensure adherence to plant safety standards during maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities: - Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and equipment - Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and identify root causes - Coordinate with production teams to minimize operational disruption - Provide technical assistance to junior operators and technicians - Support new equipment installation and commissioning - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, downtime, and repairs - Report critical equipment failures and raise requisitions for spare parts - Ensure adherence to plant safety standards and protocols - Monitor and manage spare parts inventory and tools - Participate in Kaizen, TPM, or 5S activities - Recommend changes for energy efficiency and cost reduction in maintenance processes Qualification Required: - Diploma in a relevant field is preferred - Minimum of 4 years of experience in maintenance and repair - Proficiency in Hindi and English languages - Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) Additional Details: The company provides benefits such as food, health insurance, leave encashment, life insurance, and provident fund.
