Repair and maintenance Operator

Key Responsibilities: Maintenance & Repairs: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic). Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and identify root causes. Coordinate with production teams to minimize operational disruption. Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to junior operators and technicians. Support new equipment installation and commissioning. Suggest improvements for equipment reliability and performance. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, downtime, and repairs in logbooks or CMMS. Report critical equipment failures and raise requisitions for spare parts. Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to plant safety standards and protocols during maintenance activities. Conduct routine inspections and audits of machines for compliance and risk identification. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage spare parts inventory and tools. Ensure proper handling and storage of maintenance materials. Continuous Improvement: Participate in Kaizen, TPM, or 5S activities. Recommend changes for energy efficiency and cost reduction in maintenance processes. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Proficient in reading technical manuals, drawings, and schematics Knowledge of PLCs, motors, conveyors, compressors, pumps, etc. Ability to handle emergency breakdowns under pressure Team leadership and mentoring ability Knowledge of safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures Familiar with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) Job Type: Permanent Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month Benefits: Food provided Health insurance Leave encashment Life insurance Provident Fund Schedule: Rotational shift Supplemental Pay: Overtime pay Shift allowance Yearly bonus Education: Diploma (Preferred) Experience: Maintenance: 4 years (Required) Repair and Maintenance: 4 years (Required) Language: Hindi, English (Required) Location: Gurgaon, Haryana (Preferred) Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Night Shift (Preferred) Work Location: In person
