Repair and maintenance Operator

The main responsibilities of this role include performing preventive and corrective maintenance on various machines and equipment, troubleshooting breakdowns, and coordinating with production teams to minimize operational disruptions. You will also be responsible for providing technical support to junior operators and technicians, supporting new equipment installation, and suggesting improvements for equipment reliability and performance. Additionally, maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, downtime, and repairs, reporting critical equipment failures, ensuring safety compliance during maintenance activities, conducting routine inspections, and audits, as well as managing spare parts inventory and tools will be part of your duties. You will be expected to participate in continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen, TPM, or 5S, and recommend changes for energy efficiency and cost reduction in maintenance processes. The ideal candidate should possess strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, be proficient in reading technical manuals, drawings, and schematics, have knowledge of PLCs, motors, conveyors, compressors, pumps, etc., and be able to handle emergency breakdowns under pressure. Team leadership and mentoring abilities, knowledge of safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures, and familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) are also required.
