Job Description

As an Electrical Systems Engineer at Schneider Electric, you will be responsible for a wide range of technical tasks related to electrical system engineering and support. Your key responsibilities will include: - Experience with electrical system engineering, service, fault finding, or commissioning. - Practical knowledge of Power monitoring systems, energy meters, protective relays, circuit breakers, etc. - Knowledge of LV Electrical Power networks through theory and on-site experience. - Familiarity with SCADA or equivalent systems, Configuration tools, and HMI. - Providing on-site or remote advanced technical support for connectivity/system configuration issues. - Knowledge of digital power metering systems, with preference for SE Power logic. - Proficiency in SQL database querying and programming. - Sound technical knowledge of IT networking and computer systems, including MS Server operating system installation and configuration. - Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to internal or external customers, both verbally and in writing. - Attention to detail, self-starter, proactive, keen to learn, good communication skills, and result-oriented. Able to work under pressure and with deadlines. - Capability to work with people from diverse technical backgrounds, including consultants, senior professional engineers, energy managers, electricians, IT engineers, account managers, and sales personnel. - Collaboration with a global community of experts using online tools and expertise repository. Qualifications that will make you successful in this role include: - Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering or equivalent from a recognized university. - Training in buildings management system or electrical distribution system is a plus. - Experience in Power monitoring systems, energy meters, protective relays, circuit breakers, etc. - Experience with SCADA or equivalent systems, Configuration tools, and HMI. - Knowledge of digital power metering systems, SE Power logic preferred. - SQL database querying and programming skills. - Technical knowledge of IT networking and computer systems, including MS Server. - Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to customers. - Attention to detail, self-starter, proactive, keen to learn, good communication skills, and result-oriented.
