Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Remote IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to our employees. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot, software, and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and excellent user experience. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote technical support via phone, email, or remote desktop tools.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and updates.
  • Monitor IT systems and escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams.
  • Ensure security protocols are followed, including antivirus and data protection measures.
  • Train and guide users on basic IT best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist, Help Desk Technician, or similar role.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and other productivity tools.
  • Experience using remote desktop tools and helpdesk ticketing systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks remotely.
  • Relevant certifications (MCSA, MCSE, CCNA ) are a plus.
  • Familiarity with Autodesk products (installation & troubleshooting)
  • Have a solid knowledge of the following:

- Sophos Firewall administration and troubleshooting

- Microsoft SharePoint management

- Managing and maintaining the Domain Controller and Active Directory services
