Remote Estimator - Hotel Construction (Takeoffs)

We are a growing real estate third-party construction company based in the United States specializing in providing construction services primarily for hotels projects. We are seeking a detail-oriented Remote Estimator with proven experience in reading and interpreting building construction plans, performing accurate takeoffs, and supporting the project team with technical reviews and documentation.

Position Type: Full-Time, Remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed takeoffs using industry-standard takeoff software
• Review and interpret building construction plans for commercial real estate projects (hotel experience preferred)
• Handle technical requests from the project team
• Conduct submittal reviews for accuracy and compliance
• Review jobsite verifications through Openspace, Procore, and site photos
• Execute tasks from project lookahead schedules
• Identify gaps and prepare Requests for Information (RFIs)
• Prepare takeoff and technical templates
• Perform all technical reviews to ensure design and scope accuracy

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an estimator in commercial construction (hotel construction experience preferred)
• Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting building construction plans
• Proficiency in takeoff software (specify examples if you want: e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, etc.)
• Experience using Procore, Openspace, or similar construction project management tools
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with submittal processes and RFI preparation
• Knowledge of commercial building codes and construction methods
• Strong problem-solving abilities in identifying design or documentation gaps
