Roles and Responsibilities Prepare and submit draw requests to banks (familiarity with AIA forms G702 and G703 is preferred). Maintain a detailed log of all company and project-related transactions, including storing, organizing, and labeling the backups properly (i.e., invoices, receipts, lien waivers, etc.). Maintain and update Schedules of Values (SOVs) for accurate project billing from subcontractors or suppliers. Handle the management and filing of all invoices, ensuring they are accurate and processed in a timely manner. Manage and categorize expenses to maintain accurate financial records and reporting. Reconcile accounts and assist with financial closing processes. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards specific to the construction industry. Assist in tax preparation and filing, including managing W9, W2, and other tax-related documents. Liaise with project managers to align financial reporting with project budgets, proper allocations, and projections. Use QuickBooks for construction financial management. Collaborate with external auditors to validate financial practices and records during audits. Analyze financial data (on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis) and prepare detailed reports to support decision-making for construction projects.
