Release Manager

Position Description:

Release Manager responsible for co-ordinating software delivery launches across multiple product teams within the EU IMG Order Fulfilment group which supports Order Management Systems across Europe, Middle East & Africa and Asia Pacific. The platform is a technology mix of monolithic Oracle / Linux applications and more modern Microservices based architecture hosted on Premise and on GCP. The role will involve working alongside the product teams, the engineering platform teams and other key SME s. The successful candidate will be capable of working independently and being able to successfully collaborate within an agile delivery group across product teams who are building Order Management applications and services. Additional Responsibilities will include: Work with Product Owners, Product Manager, Product Anchors and key SME s to plan the delivery of new software Maintain an overall product group delivery planner Work with the Product Anchors to continually improve the integration tooling within the delivery pipeline across the various product teams & technologies; improving quality gates based on past learnings. Support the product teams with production software operations and assist troubleshooting production issues.

Skills Required:

Demonstrate high levels of motivation and an ability to operate with limited supervision while delivering high quality results Evidence of a strong customer mind-set and having developed customer relationships Evidence of effective verbal and written communication skills at all levels of personnel within both IT and the business. - Evidence of good time management, prioritization and organizational skills Working knowledge of version control systems (Git/GitHub) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins) Good knowledge of databases (Oracle, MS SQL) Experience of working in an Agile environment 5 years+ experience of project management / co-ordination / launch management Experience of working in an Agile environment

Skills Preferred:

Experience of GCP or PCF Experience of supporting micro-services Experience of EPS Experience of JavaScript with node
