Release Management

As a Release Management Specialist at Halliburton's Landmark Software & Services group, you will be responsible for applying release management methodologies to manage source code, build artifacts, and package them into installers for customer delivery. Your role includes assisting in deploying and maintaining secure applications, ensuring they undergo rigorous security testing. You will work on projects of moderate scope and complexity, collaborating closely with product delivery teams such as developers, QA, and documentation teams. To excel in this role, you should possess an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field along with at least 3 years of experience in Release Management or software development. Additionally, the following qualifications and experience are required: - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering discipline - 3+ years of experience in developing complex software applications - Proficiency in Cloud and SaaS Development, including Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, etc. - Knowledge of AWS Cloud, with preference given to certified professionals - Familiarity with various AWS services like VPC, Subnet, TGW, Peering, EC2, workspace, IAM, Security (Policies, Roles, etc.) - Experience as a Linux administrator - Understanding of DevOps principles and practices - Proficiency in Release Management tools such as Git, Artifactory, CI/CD Pipelines - Knowledge of Identity protocols like SAML/OpenID Connect, Active Directory - Proficiency in Terraform and Ansible scripting - Familiarity with telemetry tools like New Relic, Splunk, or Dynatrace At Halliburton, we prioritize our employees and offer competitive compensation plans, comprehensive health benefits, work-life programs, as well as reward and incentive plans.
