Our client is a leading commodity trading and logistics company.They are committed to building and maintaining world-class IT applications and infrastructure.The Trading IT group directly supports the trading business, and this business has started a far-reaching programme to enhance and improve its trading applications using an innovative architecture to support business growth across the full range of business lines and geographies, and to enable the sharing of systems across different businesses.
This programme is aimed at delivering functional capabilities, enhancements, and technical infrastructure upgrades to enable continued business growth and enhanced profitability for the firm.Client is looking to replace existing reconciliation system Gresham with Exceptor which will be enterprise-wide recon platform across FO, MO and BO
Key Responsibilities
Must have
Preferred Experience
a) 10+ years of overall experience out of which at least 2 years on Xceptor
b) If not many Xceptor recon resources available then we can consider resources with Smartstream TLM, Intellimatch, Duco experience
Database and Data Handling
a) Strong skills in working with RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
b) Experience in handling large datasets and data reconciliation
ETL and Data Transformation
a) Understanding of ETL concepts and tools (Xceptor is often used as an ETL tool)
b) Experience with data cleansing, validation, and transformation logic
SDLC and Agile Methodologies
a) Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
b) Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD pipelines (JIRA, Jenkins, etc.)
Problem Solving and Debugging
a) Ability to debug workflows and resolve complex data transformation issues
Communication and Collaboration
a) Strong communication skills to interact with BA, QA, and business stakeholders
b) Ability to translate business requirements into technical workflows
An ideal candidate will also have expertise in some or all of the following:
Jira or a similar issue-tracking systems
