Project description

Our client, a leading manufacturer of high-end household appliances, is expanding into new smart product lines. As part of this strategic initiative, a large-scale global program is being implemented across the company''s IP portfolio. This includes the development of new embedded software, enhancements to cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Perform tasks within agreed timeframe and according to design\functional spec.
Completely accountable for quality and timely delivery of own tasks.
Test cases creation based on requirements/SW architecture
Build up test environment
Test cases execution, report test results and feature status
Test case logs/results reporting, defects registering (defects tracking system)
Defects verification / validation / reproduction
Make test-design decisions according to Test Plan/Strategy and requirements.
Automate tests and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
Perform integration and regression testing

Skills

Must have

Degree in computer science or a comparable field
Solid understanding of testing SW systems in at least one field (embedded, backend or mobile)
Few years of experience with test automation
Python
intermediate or higher
Few years of experience with CI/CD pipelines (Bamboo, Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
Few years of experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
Few years of experience working with agile teams (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
Team-player having very good communication skills
Self-organized and highly collaborative

Nice to have

Continuous learning attitude
Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) & Software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing tools
Safety-critical standards knowledge
