Role Overview

build markets from scratch, not just manage existing ones


Key Responsibilities

  • Own

    primary & secondary sales targets

    for the South region
  • Appoint, onboard, and manage

    distributors & super stockists

  • Drive numeric distribution across:

Pet stores

Vet clinics

Modern trade (where applicable)

  • Build and manage a team of

    Area Sales Managers / Territory Executives

  • Execute GTM plans for:

New product launches

Trade schemes & visibility programs

  • Ensure strong in-store execution: visibility, planograms, POSM
  • Track market feedback, pricing, competitor activity
  • Work closely with marketing & supply chain for demand planning
  • Maintain distributor hygiene: credit, collections, stock rotation


Success Metrics

  • Regional revenue & growth %
  • Active outlet count
  • Distributor productivity
  • Team performance & retention
  • New market openings


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 6-10 years of Pet industry experience
  • Prior experience managing

    multi-state South markets

  • Strong distributor-handling & team-building skills
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and zero-to-one expansion
  • Preferably handled premium or D2C-led brands
