Regional Sales Manager (PHARMA)

As a Regional Sales Manager in the pharmaceutical industry, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the achievement of regional targets consistently. You will be leading a team to achieve set targets both in terms of revenue and product sales. Your duties will include recruiting and managing competent Area Business Managers (ABM) and Medical Representatives (MR) to enhance the sales team's performance. It will be your responsibility to focus on the overall development of the sales team by providing necessary training, continuous motivation, and rewards for exceptional performance. You will also need to address non-performances firmly to maintain a high level of productivity within the team. Your role will involve implementing effective sales strategies to meet the annual volume objectives within the assigned accounts. Monitoring the performance of each ABM and MR in the region, identifying issues, and taking corrective actions will be crucial for success in this role. Furthermore, you will play a key part in driving growth for new products and improving the market share of the company's brands. Identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities in the region through strategic expansion will be essential. Managing Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) and reaching out to new customers by expanding into different geographies and market segments will be part of your responsibilities. Proposing sales promotion plans and schemes to the sales head and successfully executing sales support activities to generate and close new leads will also be expected from you. Additionally, you will be in charge of managing CFAs (Carrying and Forwarding Agents) and accounts receivables. Implementing effective contact management strategies and holding regular meetings with key customers and distributors will be vital for maintaining strong relationships and driving sales growth.,
