Regional Sales Manager (RSM)

Common Responsibilities of an RSM

  • Sales & Business Development

    : Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to grow market share and identify new business opportunities and channels.
  • Team Leadership & Management

    : Lead, guide, train, and monitor a team of Area Sales Managers (ASM), Sales Officers (SO). Conduct performance assessments and ensure the team achieves objectives.
  • Distributor & Network Management

    : Appoint, manage, and strengthen distributor and channel partner networks. Ensure proper stock availability, order execution, and timely payment collection.
  • Market Execution & Visibility

    : Drive merchandising and in-store branding initiatives. Implement trade schemes, promotions, and new product launches.
  • Reporting & Analytics

    : Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses. Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer insights.
