Role & responsibilities

To generate business and closely co-ordinate with all the division for the organization in cost effective and time bound manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Liaison with various division for matters for local and North shipments
  • Cost control and control management, negotiations- focus on end to end cost management
  • Externally benchmarked the latest trends and new development in shipping and logistics eco-system.
  • Drive technology and process compliance across the shipping organization
  • Providing various inputs for MIS and other reports as per the requirements
  • Attend meeting with shipping lines, Transporters, Rail operators, other vendors and interdepartmental in-house and outdoors as when required.
  • To Provide strong and disciplined leadership which will be essence of his/her managing the department.
  • To responsible for managing regional freight forwarding sales
