Regional Medical Advisor (RMA)

As a Regional Medical Advisor (RMA) at Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd, your primary responsibility will be to serve as the scientific face of the organization to Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and physicians within a specific therapy area. You will be tasked with identifying, mapping, and profiling KOLs in your assigned geography and therapy area on an ongoing basis. Your engagement with identified KOLs will be crucial, aligning with the overall strategic plan through various medical affairs activities. Your role will also involve executing the strategic medical affairs plan, encompassing activities such as medical education, product education, medical evidence generation, advisory boards, pre-license activities, and special projects. As a therapeutic area scientific expert, you will be expected to discuss scientific data related to products, patient treatment trends, and studies with leading specialists, physicians, pharmacists, hospital managers, and other stakeholders. Collaboration with the therapy area lead to support optimal patient outcomes, representation of the organization in scientific platforms, and gathering insights on disease trends and treatment patterns will be key aspects of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will proactively analyze disease trends, handle complex questions related to Sun Pharma products or disease areas, and ensure all activities adhere to compliance guidelines. In terms of qualifications, we are looking for candidates with at least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a research company, preferably with project management skills. A strong academic background, knowledge of research methodologies, and the ability to communicate effectively with specialists are essential. Experience in medical writing, integrity-driven decision-making, collaboration skills, and a strategic mindset are highly valued. This field-based role requires extensive travel for interactions with KOLs and the implementation of medical affairs activities.
