Job Description

Regional Manager

  • Provide strong leadership and guidance to the regional team, including operations, sales, and customer service staff.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and implement training programs to enhance team skills.

Operational Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the logistics services within the assigned region.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Optimise route utilisation and vendor negotiation.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure First Mile and Last Mile service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met or exceeded
  • Ensure Operational overheads are monitored and kept within budget.
  • Ensure the Hub and Branch infrastructure is regularly monitored and prepare action plan to ensure any increase/decrease in operation load.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region to drive revenue growth.
  • Identify lanes to improve overall yield of the organisation and drive sales accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance business growth.
  • Identify reasons for revenue de-growth and take appropriate action
  • Ensure region achieves targeted Net Promoter Score from client feedback.
  • Drive Monthly Business Review of clients through CRM department to address customer attrition.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the regional budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Monitor and analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Monitor and ensure Overheads of the region is within the defined parameters
  • Ensure cash flow for the region by maintaining healthy DSO through timely collection of dues.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and maintain quality assurance programs to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.
  • Address any issues related to service quality promptly and implement corrective actions.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Act as a primary point of contact for key clients in the region.
  • Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the express logistics industry
