Role & responsibilities Develop and execute regional sales & marketing strategies for fertilizers to achieve business objectives. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities. Manage and lead a team of Area/ Zonal Managers, Sales Officers, and field staff. Drive farmer connect programs, product demonstrations, and awareness campaigns. Ensure timely supply chain coordination to meet demand and maintain adequate stock levels. Establish and strengthen relationships with distributors, dealers, and institutional buyers. Implement pricing, credit, and collection policies in the region. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements related to fertilizer sales and distribution. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports for senior management. Provide training, motivation, and performance evaluation of the regional sales team. Collaborate with agronomists, R&D, and marketing teams to introduce new products and solutions.
