Job Description

Role Overview: As the Regional Head for Bharat Bank & MAB Segment at Axis, your primary responsibility will be to drive the Bharat Bank segment business in coordination with the Axis Regional Head for Bharat Bank & MAB Segments. You will be formulating regional business strategies, implementing business directions, and leveraging the leadership of Bharat Bank & MAB in alignment with organizational objectives. Your role will involve leading a team of Relationship Managers to achieve sales targets and initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain strong relationships with the Axis Bharat Bank & MAB Regional Leaders to drive sales through Bharat Bank & MAB Customers. - Oversee all Bharat Bank & MAB business operations within the region, including forecasting monthly/annual business targets and ensuring their execution within the specified time frame. Create a growth-oriented environment for the team. - Assign targets, conduct joint monthly Performance Review Process (PRP) with the Direct Reports (DRs), recruit, train, and supervise executives to achieve business targets and insurance sales in the defined geography while fostering a progressive partnership with the bank. - Provide regular updates aligned with Axis Bharat Bank, MAB, and MLI teams to meet business plans. Drive the Bharat Bank & MAB managers to ensure activation, persistency, and track performance across all vectors for effective traction analysis. - Lead the people agenda by ensuring higher engagement of key talents within the zone, minimizing compliance issues, and retaining talents within the team. - Implement the BOLD system to ensure productive and mutually beneficial relationships compliant with regulatory requirements. Monitor the implementation of bank staff contests/R&R to accelerate revenue generation with the Channel. Qualifications Required: - Master of Business Administration from a premier business school or equivalent. - 8 to 12 years of experience in Distribution Operations & Channel Management, with prior experience in insurance being essential. - Key competencies/skills required include Relationship Management, Leading people, and Effective Management of Processes.
