Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Core Competencies

Manufacturing Finance & Cost Accounting

Standard costing and variance analysis
WIP valuation
Machine run-rate costing with OEE linkage to financial KPIs
Raw material cost tracking (paper, board, plastics, inks, adhesives)

Budgeting & Forecasting

Preparation of annual operating plans and rolling forecasts
Sales volume and production forecasting aligned with capacity utilization

Financial Reporting & Compliance

Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Coordination with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies
Handling statutory audit, internal audit, and compliance requirements

Supply Chain & Inventory Management

Ensuring inventory accuracy and conducting cycle counts
Managing slow-moving and obsolete inventory
Financial oversight of procurement and vendor payment cycles

Operational Finance & Productivity Improvement

Monitoring waste, spoilage, and rework costs
Evaluating CAPEX for new printing/packaging lines (Flexo, Offset, Rotogravure, etc.)

ERP & Digital Tools

Proficiency in manufacturing ERPs (SAP, Oracle, Tally, MS Dynamics)
Strong skills in Excel and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)

Educational & Professional Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
CA / CMA qualified
1015+ years
of experience in manufacturing finance, preferably in packaging/printing
