Job Description

As a Business Development Manager in the Agri SME space, your role will involve leading a team of Area Business Managers and Relationship Managers to acquire New-To-Bank (NTB) customers within the assigned geography. Your primary responsibility will be managing the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the segment. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate strong expertise in Trade, Foreign Exchange, and working capital products - Focus on enhancing coverage and granularity by expanding the client base and driving risk-adjusted operating profit - Possess acceptable knowledge of the geography, enabling you to recruit high-quality team members efficiently - Build a robust customer base, increase product penetration, and generate revenue by delivering exceptional service standards consistently - Develop strong relationships with key clients and promoters to drive cross-selling of liability and third-party products - Collaborate with internal bank channels and external sources like Direct Marketing Associates (DMAs), Chartered Accountants (CAs), and financial consultants to expand market reach - Establish networks and partnerships across various business segments through associations, industry bodies, and warehouse managers - Enhance operational efficiency by monitoring processes, identifying improvements based on market trends and ground reality - Continuously review accounts to ensure alignment with business budgets and drive portfolio hygiene by managing delinquencies, closures, and security creation promptly - Monitor team performance, provide positive motivation, and inspire them to achieve desired results Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in a similar role within the Agri SME sector - Strong understanding of Trade, Foreign Exchange, and working capital products - Proven track record of team leadership and achieving business targets - Excellent networking and relationship-building skills - Ability to drive business growth and profitability through strategic planning and execution Please note that this job description does not include any additional details about the company.,
