OpenShift Administrator for Maximo Application Suite (MAS)

The OpenShift Administrator will be responsible for deploying, managing, and maintaining Red Hat OpenShift clusters that host IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS). This role ensures the stability, performance, and security of containerized enterprise applications on Azure/AWS Cloud.

Key Responsibilitie

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift platforms on Azure/AWS.
• Perform cluster maintenance including patching, configuration changes, and operator management.
• Troubleshoot issues related to pods, services, CRDs, storage classes, and networking.
• OpenShift cluster creation and management in ROSA/ARO.
• Creating/updating ansible playbook for Maximo Application suite installation.
• Monitoring setup using tools like Instana, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Collaborate with Maximo developers and functional teams for environment readiness.
• Backup and restore policy implementation for Cluster, Customer resources, Mongo DB.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and container lifecycle management.
• Use infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform for provisioning.
• Create system documentation, runbooks, and participate in disaster recovery testing.
• Work with security teams to harden and audit Maximo environments.
• Perform certificate management and ensure compliance with ITIL practices.
• Infrastructure sizing assessment for Cluster setup.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 510 years of experience in Linux and OpenShift administration.
• Hands-on experience with Installation and configuration of OpenShift clusters in Azure/AWS
• Proficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) and experience with MongoDB databases.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Preferred to have experience with Maximo Application Suite setup on Azure/AWS.
