Record to Report Specialist

You will be our Record to Report specialist based at IBC Knowledge Park, Bengaluru and aligned with the Lead Record to Report in the Corporate Finance & Accounts team. **Role Overview:** As a key member of the Finance Controllership Team at Ather, your primary responsibility will be book closures and period financial reporting. You will support in the preparation of financial statements schedules on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Additionally, you will actively manage sub-processes of Fixed Asset, ensuring end-to-end ownership from a process and reporting perspective. Your role will involve timely accounting and reporting for all investments and borrowings, along with compliance with loan covenants. You will be responsible for running balance-sheet reconciliation routines, periodic GL scrutiny, review of Chart of Accounts, preparing back-up workings for Ind AS adjustments, and building strong internal controls for day-to-day compliances, audits, etc. **Key Responsibilities:** - Actively manage sub-processes of Fixed Asset - Ensure timely accounting and reporting for investments and borrowings - Run balance-sheet reconciliation routines - Assist in building scalable ERP platforms and strong ICFR framework - Work closely with auditors on statutory audits - Coordinate submissions for due diligence projects for fund raising - Support in various submissions to management and the Board **Qualifications Required:** - In-depth experience in finance processes and IND-AS reporting - Strong work experience in monthly accounting closure/audits of a manufacturing/retail entity - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Experience in Controllership/Accounting/Auditing in a listed manufacturing or retail entity or Big 4 firms - Experience in accounting applications such as SAP, BPC, Oracle, etc. - Ability to build successful relationships across stakeholders - Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within strict timelines You will need a Chartered Accountant qualification along with relevant work experience of 3-5 years (post qualification) to be successful in this role at Ather.,
