Record to Report - Senior

As a RTR (Record to Report) General Ledger Accountant at Hitachi Vantara, you will play a crucial role in providing general accounting services for the countries served. Your responsibilities will include: - Delivering general accounting services such as preparing accounting vouchers, monthly fixed assets and general ledger close, monthly reporting, balance sheets analytics, and reconciliations. - Expertise in reconciling the General ledger and Bank statement and posting the entries as required for Bank Reconciliations. - Ensuring all month-end close activities are completed accurately and on time, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting for the countries served for Month-End Close. - Managing the accounting for fixed assets, ensuring accurate capitalization, depreciation, and disposal of assets for Fixed Asset Expertise. - Maintaining lease records in CoStar for the countries served and ensuring compliance with lease accounting standards for Lease Accounting Expertise. - Performing account reconciliation for the countries served, ensuring all accounts are reconciled accurately and discrepancies are resolved promptly for Reconciliation Expertise. - Preparing and reviewing financial reports in accordance with the controller's requirements and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations for Reporting. - Proposing improvement of the existing process to increase consistency, transparency & productivity for Process Improvement. - Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for Stakeholder Collaboration. - Ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures, and supporting audit activities as required for Compliance. - Taking full ownership of assigned responsibilities, demonstrating accountability for the accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables for Ownership & Accountability. Qualifications required for this role include: - CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred. - 7+ years of experience in general accounting, RTR, or financial reporting. - Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and lease accounting standards. - Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and reconciliation tools. - Experience with automation tools is a plus. - Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
