What would you do?
As an R2R Operations Specialist within the GAAP team, you will play a critical role in managing and executing accounting operations aligned with US GAAP standards. This role demands strong analytical capabilities, leadership experience, and a deep understanding of financial reporting processes.Key Responsibilities?¢Analyze and solve moderately complex accounting and operational issues.?¢Develop new solutions by leveraging and adapting existing methods and procedures.?¢Align work with strategic goals set by senior management.?¢Interact primarily with direct supervisors, with occasional engagement with clients and internal leadership.?¢Apply judgment in determining methods and procedures for new assignments.?¢Make decisions that impact team performance and deliverables.?¢Lead small teams or manage individual workstreams within client engagements or internal operations.?¢Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.?¢Collaborate across teams to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.?¢Be flexible to work in rotational shifts as required by business needs.Involves balancing all balance sheet accounts against sub-ledger or other non-general ledger based source data to verify whether the balance sheet accounts are in balance with the source system feeding the general ledger. Differences which arise are addressed as reconciling items.

Qualifications?¢Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.?¢Experience in Record-to-Report (R2R) processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.?¢Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP.)?¢Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.?¢Proven ability to lead teams and drive process improvements.?¢Experience in working with global teams and managing time-zone aligned deliverables.Preferred Qualification:B.
