What would you do? You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data/reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions.As an R2R Operations Specialist within the GAAP team, you will play a critical role in managing and executing accounting operations aligned with US GAAP standards. This role demands strong analytical capabilities, leadership experience, and a deep understanding of financial reporting processes.Key Responsibilities
Analyze and solve moderately complex accounting and operational issues.Develop new solutions by leveraging and adapting existing methods and procedures.Align work with strategic goals set by senior management.Interact primarily with direct supervisors, with occasional engagement with clients and internal leadership.Record to Report (R2R) is a finance and accounting process that involves collecting, processing, and delivering accurate financial data. This includes recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements. The goal is to provide a clear and accurate picture of a companys financial performance. Effective R2R processes ensure compliance with accounting standards and support informed decision-making.Apply judgment in determining methods and procedures for new assignments.Make decisions that impact team performance and deliverables.Lead small teams or manage individual workstreams within client engagements or internal operations.Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Collaborate across teams to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.Participate in audits A type of general ledger account which contains a summary of sub-ledger accounts. Because the reconciliation account only provides a summary, no transactions are directly posted to the account.
What are we looking for?
