What would you do?
You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data/reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions.As an R2R Operations Specialist within the GAAP team, you will play a critical role in managing and executing accounting operations aligned with US GAAP standards. This role demands strong analytical capabilities, leadership experience, and a deep understanding of financial reporting processes.Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and solve moderately complex accounting and operational issues.
  • Develop new solutions by leveraging and adapting existing methods and procedures.
  • Align work with strategic goals set by senior management.
  • Interact primarily with direct supervisors, with occasional engagement with clients and internal leadership.Record to Report (R2R) is a finance and accounting process that involves collecting, processing, and delivering accurate financial data. This includes recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements. The goal is to provide a clear and accurate picture of a companys financial performance. Effective R2R processes ensure compliance with accounting standards and support informed decision-making.
  • Apply judgment in determining methods and procedures for new assignments.
  • Make decisions that impact team performance and deliverables.
  • Lead small teams or manage individual workstreams within client engagements or internal operations.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
  • Participate in audits A type of general ledger account which contains a summary of sub-ledger accounts. Because the reconciliation account only provides a summary, no transactions are directly posted to the account.
