As an experienced Accountant, you will be responsible for various financial activities within the organization. Your key responsibilities will include: - Journal Entries and preparation of Financial Reports. - Mandatory Intercompany experience. - Creation of effective financial statement schedules, audit support schedules, and other reports. - Reviewing reconciliations, financial statements, and related reports, investigating problems, and organizing projects. - Knowledge or experience in Insurance accounting. - Ability to deliver value through various activities in statutory/Gaap accounting close cycle. - Assisting in the documentation of internal controls and performing assigned internal control processes. - Identifying and resolving issues, along with suggesting improvements for business value and efficiency. - Active participation in department projects and continuous improvement activities, sharing expertise with the team. Your role-specific skills should include: - Experience in Oracle/SAP/Blackline. - Knowledge of monthly, quarterly, and annual book close cycles. - Subject Matter Expertise in Expense Accounting, Fixed Assets, DAC, IBNR, etc. In addition to the above, you should possess the following technical/soft skills: - Advanced skills in MS Office. - Extensive knowledge of US insurance and Insurance Finance. Please note the education and work experience requirements for this role: **Education Requirements:** - B.Com is a must. - Master's Degree in Accounting/CA/CPA/CFA. **Work Experience Requirements:** - 4+ years of related experience.
