Record to Report- (Immediate Joiners- US Shift)

As an experienced Accounting professional with 4+ years of related experience, your main responsibilities will include: - Creating journal entries and preparing financial reports. - Demonstrating intercompany experience. - Generating effective financial statement schedules, audit support schedules, and other reports. - Reviewing reconciliations and financial statements, investigating problems, and organizing projects. - Applying insurance accounting experience or knowledge. - Delivering value by working on various activities in the statutory/GAAP accounting close cycle and producing results accordingly. - Assisting in documenting internal controls and performing assigned internal control processes such as general ledger reconciliations. - Identifying issues and aiding in their resolution. - Learning how data flows through the financial systems to the accounting function to identify and address issues. - Offering suggestions to enhance business value and work efficiency, collaborating with the team on evaluating and implementing these suggestions. - Actively participating in increasingly complex department projects and continuous improvement activities, sharing expertise with others to achieve shared goals. Your role-specific skills should include: - Experience in Oracle/SAP/Blackline. - Knowledge of monthly, quarterly, and annual book close cycles. - Subject matter expertise in Expense Accounting, Fixed Assets, DAC, IBNR, etc. - Understanding how data flows through financial systems to the accounting function to identify and address issues effectively. In addition, your technical/soft skills should encompass: - Advanced skills in MS Office. - Extensive knowledge of US insurance and Insurance Finance. Please note that the education requirements for this role include a B.Com degree, with a preference for a Master's Degree in Accounting, CA, CPA, or CFA. The position is based in Noida, with shifts available in the US/UK timezones.,
