REBAR ESTIMATION CHECKER/ TEAM LEADER

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze rebar estimates prepared by the estimation team.
• Verify accuracy in quantities, dimensions, and specifications.
• Cross-check estimates against project plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure estimates comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Identify and address discrepancies between project requirements and estimates.
• Identify and report errors or inconsistencies in rebar estimates.
• Recommend corrections or adjustments to the estimation team.
• Prepare detailed reports of findings and observations.
• Maintain organized records of reviewed estimates and related documents.
• Work closely with the estimation team to clarify ambiguities or resolve discrepancies.
• Provide feedback and guidance to improve estimation accuracy.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance the quality and efficiency of estimation workflows.
• Stay updated with industry best practices, tools, and technologies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in rebar estimation is preferred.
• Familiarity with estimation software and tools.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of rebar detailing principles, US rebar standards, and construction methods.
• Ability to analyze complex drawings and detailed technical information.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of construction codes and standards related to rebar.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
