Job description Position - Junior Rebar Detailer Key Responsibilities: Develop rebar placement drawings using structural and architectural plans. Generate bar bending schedules (BBS) with precise dimensions and quantities. Ensure detailing complies with relevant codes and standards such as ACI and Canadian. Incorporate client-specific requirements into the detailing process. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to clarify project details. Resolve discrepancies between design documents and detailing requirements. Perform self-checks on drawings and schedules for accuracy. Ensure detailing outputs meet project deadlines and quality standards. Maintain organized records of drawings, schedules, and revisions. Prepare revision logs and update drawings as required. Qualifications and Skills: Education: Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering. Experience: Minimum 1 – 3 years of experience in rebar detailing. Knowledge of rebar detailing standards and codes (ACI and Canadian). Skills: Proficiency in rebar detailing software (e.g., AutoCAD, Rebar CAD). Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
