Job Description

The role of Estate Manager involves overseeing the maintenance, repairs, and renovations of buildings, grounds, and infrastructure on the estate. You will be responsible for hiring, training, and supervising household staff, including gardeners, maintenance workers, and security personnel. Developing and managing budgets for estate operations, including maintenance, staff salaries, and event planning is a key aspect of this role. Additionally, you will be organizing and overseeing events held on the estate, such as parties and gatherings, and implementing security measures to ensure the safety of the property and its occupants. Regular communication with the property owner and other stakeholders to provide updates on estate operations and address any issues is also required. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively, excellent communication skills to interact with staff, contractors, and the property owner, and financial acumen to understand and manage budgets, financial statements, and expenses. Problem-solving skills are essential for identifying and resolving issues that may arise on the estate, and leadership and supervision skills are necessary to motivate staff members to perform their duties effectively. Project management skills will be utilized for overseeing renovations, maintenance projects, and other tasks, while attention to detail is crucial to ensure that all aspects of the estate are well-maintained and functioning properly. In addition to the key responsibilities, the Estate Manager will also be involved in negotiating contracts with vendors and service providers, managing inventory of supplies and equipment used for estate operations, and ensuring legal compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including cell phone reimbursement, health insurance, and Provident Fund. The work schedule is a day shift, with additional performance and yearly bonuses provided. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estate Manager and must be proficient in English. The work location is in person.,
