This is your role We are looking for a seasoned professional to join our team in a leadership role focused on the design and development of AIS and GIS High Voltage Switchgear . This is a high-impact role that requires deep technical expertise and proven leadership capabilities. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and development of AIS (Air-Insulated Switchgear) and GIS (Gas-Insulated Switchgear) for high voltage applications. Drive the development of innovative mechanisms for Circuit Breakers and GIS systems. Perform advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) including Static structural (linear and non-linear) analysis Seismic, random vibration, harmonic analysis Coupled structural-thermal simulations Motion simulation and kinematic analysis Apply in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes such as forging, welding, machining, and casting in product design and development. Lead and manage end- to- end R&D projects , ensuring timely delivery and technical excellence. Mentor and guide a team of 15+ engineers , fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Required Skills & Experience More than 20 years of experience in switchgear design and development. Expertise in mechanism design for Circuit Breakers and GIS. Hands-on experience with FEA tools and simulation software . Strong understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes . Demonstrated experience in R&D project management .
