R&D Engineer

You will be responsible for ensuring and analyzing the development of products, including having knowledge about MDF/HDF/Pet Panel & Acoustic Material. Your role will involve setting up trials and testing panels with a comprehensive scoring technique, coordinating for product test certificates, and modifying existing products while developing new ones. Collaborating with Sales/Marketing to define product characteristics and working closely with the Production manager to transfer technologies from trial scale to the production line will be essential. Your tasks will include researching new ingredients and application methods, selecting raw materials from suppliers, exploring new packaging materials and machines to enhance product quality and shelf life. Identifying and elaborating on new solutions for product applications across different production lines and evaluating information to ensure compliance with standards are key aspects of the role. You will also be involved in checking and enhancing quality control procedures from raw material to the finished product stage, preparing product costing based on raw materials and manufacturing costs for profitability, and training operations and quality assurance personnel on new manufacturing processes and formulations. Addressing safety and quality issues, developing repeatable processes for consistency and safety, and collaborating with suppliers on quality and new product ideas will be part of your job responsibilities. Furthermore, you may be required to perform other duties as assigned, as well as work with suppliers on quality issues and new product concepts.
