Role - R&D Chemist (Female Only)

Objectives / Purpose:

Research & development Chemist/Sr. Executive will play a key role in the new product development & existing process improvement with key responsibility of conducting synthesis experiments, analysing data, and contributing to sustainable and scalable process development chemistry.

Accountabilities:

1. Ensure safety at workplace & safe handling and transport of hazardous chemicals, instrument and glassware.

2. Perform the day-to-day experimentations assigned by the supervisor\team lead and document the results.

3. Independently design and execute a series of experiments to test hypotheses related to project outcomes.

4. Update the lab chemical list and chemical arrangements periodically.

5. Prioritize studies and activities to align with project goals and be responsible for timely project completion.

6. Record observations and summarize the learnings in prescribed format.

Responsibilities:

1. Actively participate in routine maintenance and lab safety, always use appropriate PPE in the lab.

2. Maintain complete and comprehensive records of experimental results,

3. Write experimental summaries and project reports. Assist with revisions to SOPs, laboratory records and other documentation as assigned.

4. Prioritize studies and activities to align with project goals and be responsible for timely project completion.

5. Present technical findings/conclusions and project status updates.

6. Communicate the shift details with the team lead and the team members to have smooth workflow.

Interface:

1. Interact with Analytical department for document compliance.

2. Interacted with Lab assistant for housekeeping of lab, Safety compliance.

3. Interact with Team for shift detail and work hand over process.

4. Interact with Production department document compliance and trainings.

5. Interact with Warehouse department for document compliance and despatches.

Competencies:

1. Excellent knowledge in organic chemistry & experimental skills.

2. Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

3. Must have ability to perform assigned experiments in a safe and systematic approach.

4. Working knowledge literature/ patent search engines/tools.
