Role & responsibilities Perform synthetic chemistry reactions, reaction workups, purification of the compounds by column chromatography, crystallization, re-crystallization techniques, preparative TLC and operating lab equipments Ensure that the samples generated during synthesis are given for analysis and record subsequent results obtained and update the supervisor / group leader on the progress of synthesis and ensure samples are packed appropriately for shipment Record the observations of experiment/reaction, results, utilization of resources and other activities related to the reaction in the laboratory or e-notebook following guidelines and in timely manner and ensure that the same is handled safely and confidentially. Ensure that the instrument / equipment is calibrated, undergone preventive maintenance and are kept clean before use and in case of any breakdown, report to maintenance immediately Ensure that they know the MSDS of the chemicals they are handling and aware of emergency response procedures in case of accidental spillage, leakage or fire and ensure proper waste segregation as per EHS norms Always follow EHS and quality system requirements in the workplace ensuring individual safety and lab safety Attend all mandatory trainings and update training records as and when trainings are completed Always ensure confidentiality

Making price list and equivalent chart against all the major oil company Develop Automotive oil grades – Synthetic Oils, Greases as per OEM CUSTOMER. To organize and LAUNCH OF NEW PRODUCTS for retail segment -Passenger car, heavy vehicle, tractor segment etc Arrange MECHANIC MEET AND TRANNING, discuss the benefit of the product use, application and performance. New product PACKAGING DEVELOPMENT – labels for bottles, caps, out box designing. To design label for all grade and making content writing for various Automotive oils, greases etc Select PRODUCT PROPOMTION items for retail and get the same designed through graphic designers. Make various banners, posters to be placed out side retail shops and scheme for promotion. Make Brochure, booklet individual PRODUCT DATA SHEET and showing the performance meeting specification, find the result after trial. Meeting large fleet owners for the promotion of Automotive oils and promote the same to garages of fleet owners doing the maintenance Making presentation of all Individual Products – presentation. Attending customer complain and selecting additive to meet the performance. Formulation of Automotive oils – high end synthetic oils with good quality base oils, greases. Getting products tested from reputed laboratory as pet ASTM, IP, ISI, DIN standards and get the approval certificate. Analysis of used engine oil samples after 5000, 10,000 km of products received from customers during various stages of usage and upgrading the product performance. Performing the inspection and testing of regular production batches as per specifications. In case of non-conformance, finding the cause for failure and taking corrective actions. Raw materials, intermediates products and packaging materials also tested for quality. Evaluation of various competitor samples for comparisons and 5research purpose. Preparation of standard specifications for quality check Preparation of product data sheet and to make amendment in the same. Preparation of material safety data sheet and to amend the same with safety icon and codes. Conduct successful trial and get the data collected from customers end from large fleet owners. Preparation of manufacturing procedure for production with all details sequence of addition of raw materials, additive and intermediate control test Preparation of specifications of raw materials used in formulations Well versed with ISO 9001:2015 procedures and requirements. To collect data after the engine are over hauled and the engine oil get good performance, good fuel efficiency. Preferred candidate profile
