Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced EY Consulting SOX Senior professional with 1 to 6 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SOX and internal controls, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. ### Roles and Responsibility Manage a team of staff or deliver SOX engagements for multiple processes across clients. Participate or drive conversations with clients for process discussions and conduct walkthroughs. Prepare process flows, narratives, and risk & control matrices based on basis process discussions. Identify process gaps and recommend improvements based on client's business process and industry practice. Conduct (and review) test of design and operating effectiveness, suggesting controls to improve the client’s control framework. Document testing workpapers as per defined standards and quality benchmarks. Support the Manager in conducting SOX scoping, control rationalization, and standardization for business processes. Monitor project progress, manage multiple assignments, and related project teams if needed. Meet quality guidelines within the established turnaround time (or allotted budget) for assigned requests and provide regular status updates to the Manager on controls. Demonstrate an application and solution-based approach to problem-solving while executing client engagements and documenting working papers. Develop strong working relationships with clients and onshore client teams, maintaining excellent rapport and proactive communication. Mentor and coach junior team members to meet their performance goals and grow their careers. Participate/support business development initiatives and contribute to innovation projects leveraging emerging technologies like Robotics, AI, Advanced Analytics. Suggest ideas for improving engagement productivity and identify opportunities for enhancing client service; manage engagement budgets and ensure compliance with plans and internal quality & risk management procedures. Display teamwork, integrity, and leadership, fostering teamwork and innovation, and utilize technology/tools to continually learn, share knowledge, and enhance service delivery. Conduct workshops and technical training sessions for team members, contributing to the learning & development agenda and knowledge harnessing initiatives. ### Job Requirements More than 1 year (CAs) or 3 years (others) of experience in risks & controls, preferably in Big 4 or professional firms/industry. Strong understanding of SOX and COSO framework, with preferred certification in CIA. A degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering, or similar fields is required, along with exceptional command over spoken and written English. Candidates should be globally mobile and flexible to travel to onsite locations, possessing strong academic history and proficiency in MS-Office Suite, data analysis, and validation. Team players with strong interpersonal skills are essential, capable of prioritizing deliverables effectively to achieve optimum results.
