Radiology Typist

Job Title: Radiology Typist / Medical Transcriptionist (CT, MRI, USG, X-Ray) Location: Accu Rapid Diagnostic Centre Department: Radiology / Diagnostics Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Contract (as applicable) Job Description:Accu Rapid Diagnostic Centre is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Typist to accurately transcribe and format radiology reports for CT, MRI, Ultrasound (USG), and X-Ray investigations. The ideal candidate must have strong medical terminology knowledge and ensure timely, error-free report delivery. Key Responsibilities: Transcribe radiology reports dictated by radiologists for CT, MRI, USG, and X-Ray studies Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of medical reports Edit and proofread reports for grammar, spelling, and medical terminology Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with data protection policies Format reports as per Centre standards and radiologist instructions Upload, update, and manage reports in RIS/PACS / Hospital Management System Coordinate with radiologists and technical staff for clarifications Ensure timely turnaround time (TAT) for all reports Maintain proper documentation and records of completed reports Required Qualifications: Diploma / Certificate in Medical Transcription / Radiology Typing (preferred) Proven experience in CT, MRI, USG, and X-Ray report typing Strong knowledge of radiology and medical terminology Good typing speed with high accuracy Proficiency in MS Word and diagnostic software Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Skills & Competencies: Excellent listening and typing skills Attention to detail Familiarity with Indian radiology reporting formats Basic understanding of imaging procedures Professional communication skills Work Schedule: Shift-based / Day shift / Night shift (as per canter requirements) Salary & Benefits: Salary: As per industry standards and experience Reporting To: Chief Radiologist / Diagnostic Centre Manager
