Job Description

Dear Candidate, We are hiring experienced DRG Validators/ Coding Auditors with coding certifications (CCS) hand on experience on Inpatient DRG (MS-DRG/APR-DRG) coding.

About the role:

As the Inpatient Coding and Documentation Auditor, your primary role will be auditing inpatient cases for DRG validation and/or documentation improvement. This consists of reviewing accounts in proprietary software and client EMR systems to validate the accounts.

Eligibility Criteria:

Minimum 5+ Years of work experience in IP DRG Medical Coding with 1 year of Audit experience
IPDRG QA designation is mandatory
Education Graduate or undergraduate with a high level of knowledge and relevant work experience
Successful completion of a certification program from AHIMA (CCS) must
Candidates should have high level proficiency in coding/ auditing of IP-DRG charts across all specialties including OB/ Newborn, trauma center etc.,
Experience in any EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner & Meditech
Exposure to DRG-Validation and IP Denials will be an added advantage
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology
Effective verbal and written communication skills (should have the capability to reply to emails & calls to clients and stakeholders)
Able to work independently and willing to adapt and change as per business/process requirements.
