Qualification

B.Tech/M.Tech/MSc/Phd in Quantitative Finance/Physics/Mathematics /Statistics/Computer Science/ Electrical & Electronics

Role & Responsibilities:

Working in close tandem with global structuring desk facing aggressive deadlines for index related work
Work in close collaboration with the global teams to develop scripts for indices across various asset class
Ensuring correct publication of indices and supporting queries regarding legacy calculators
Development of new indices/features in legacy platforms
Enhancement and bug fixes for Index development platform
Analysis for client and trading queries

Gain knowledge of the relevant global financial products and model s developed by Nomura s Quantitative Research Team

Mind Set:

Domain

Knowledge of finance, and statistics. CFA level I preferred.
Good written and oral communication skills
Excellent organisational skills
Strong Analytical skills
Enthusiasm for using technology to solve challenging problems.
Comfortable with large databases / datasets

Ability to work effectively as part of the team

Strong work ethics

Technical

Proficiency in Python/C/C++/Java and Excel Knowledge

Knowledge of Bloomberg is preferred.
