Quantitative Risk Strategy Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious professional to join our team as a Risk Strategy Analyst. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape and advance the risk management paradigm of our international financing business. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and continuously iterate risk strategies across the customer lifecycle - from origination through ongoing monitoring - ensuring alignment with the company's performance standards and risk appetite
• Introduce and integrate alternative data sources, conduct data-driven risk factor discovery, and derive analytical indicators to enhance risk assessment.
• Design and optimise risk models, scoring frameworks, and monitoring mechanisms to effectively identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, product, tech, compliance) to translate insights into actionable strategies that balance growth and risk control.
• Provide thought leadership in developing innovative risk paradigms to ensure the sustainable, compliant, and scalable growth of our international business.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or above in a quantitative or financial discipline (e.g., Financial Engineering, Risk Management, Statistics, Data Science, or related fields).
• Strong computational and analytical skills, with hands-on experience in SQL, Python or other data analysis tools, and proven ability to work with complex datasets.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in credit risk strategy, modelling, or analytics within fintech or banking.
• Knowledge of Trade Finance and/or E-commerce financing is a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment, managing multiple priorities with attention to detail.
