As one of our first Product Managers, you will play a key role in designing a market-leading working capital finance platform for businesses engaged in international trade and building the product. This role is ideally suited for someone who enjoys real responsibility and creating value in the dynamic environment of an early-stage business. Responsibilities Own the product vision & roadmap – define and communicate a clear strategy for our business working-capital finance platform and products, grounded in customer insight and market opportunity. Champion customer discovery – run qualitative research, data analysis and rapid experiments to uncover pain-points and validate solutions. Translate insight into action – write clear requirements, acceptance criteria and prototypes that guide engineering, data and design teams through delivery. Balance growth with risk – partner with Credit, Risk and Operations to embed underwriting rules, risk controls and operational workflows into every feature. Prioritise ruthlessly – maintain a transparent backlog and roadmap that weighs customer impact, commercial value, risk appetite and regulatory constraints. Measure what matters – define success metrics (e.g. approval turnaround time, portfolio-level loss rates, NPS) and iterate based on data-driven learnings. Stay close to the market – monitor competitive products, regulatory changes and fintech trends to inform roadmap adjustments. Act as product SME – be the first port of call for questions on workflows, risk policy and platform capabilities, taking a holistic view and articulating trade-offs to stakeholders at every level. Model an outcomes-focused, customer-first culture – share insights, celebrate learnings and foster cross-functional collaboration. Qualifications 5+ years of product-management experience, including ideally 2+ years shipping business lending, trade-finance or working capital products. Proven track record of delivering features end-to-end in an agile environment. Solid grasp of credit-risk concepts, loan lifecycle, underwriting KPIs and the operational nuances of SME finance. Comfortable collaborating daily with Risk, Operations, Compliance and Finance to balance customer value with risk requirements. Fluent in product analytics (funnel metrics, A/B testing) and able to self-serve insights using BI tools. Excellent storyteller who translates complex technical or financial topics for engineers, executives and external partners alike. Startup or scale-up mindset – thrives amid ambiguity, takes ownership and moves from strategy to execution quickly. People-influence skills; adept at driving alignment across cross-functional squads. What You’ll Be Doing Design and implement scalable, high-performing Salesforce solutions using platform best practices. Develop features across Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud platforms, with a focus on performance, maintainability, and security. Lead the design, development, and ongoing enhancement of a secure API integration between Salesforce and an internal Operations platform, enabling real-time and scheduled data exchange to support business processes. Collaborate closely with Operations, Product, and Engineering teams to define integration requirements, align workflows, and troubleshoot data or process discrepancies. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Apex code; utilise declarative tools (e.g., Flows, Process Builder) where appropriate. Manage and enforce Salesforce platform limits, governor constraints, and data integrity in all integration processes. Own the full API integration lifecycle, including authentication strategies, error handling, logging, performance tuning, and continuous improvement. What You’ll Bring Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer working in enterprise environments with complex systems. Salesforce certified platform developer, with certifications. Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and both REST and SOAP APIs. Demonstrated experience designing and building robust, scalable API integrations between Salesforce and internal/external systems. Familiarity with asynchronous processing (e.g., Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, Platform Events) and performance optimisation strategies. Deep understanding of Sales Cloud and Pardot; experience with Service Cloud is a plus. Experience using tools such as Postman, GitHub, Salesforce CLI, Data Loader, and monitoring/logging utilities. Solid grounding in CI/CD processes, version control, and deployment methodologies. Strong knowledge of Salesforce data architecture, security models, platform limits, and change management. Agile delivery experience with cross-functional collaboration in fast-paced environments. Excellent communication skills.
