Quantitative Backtester

Role: Quantitative Backtester Experience: 5+ Years Shift: Part-time, flexible hours. Remote: Anywhere in India About the Role: We are seeking a part-time Quantitative Backtester with experience in developing and evaluating trading strategies. You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and testing trading strategies, including the creation of automated trading bots and integration with Interactive Brokers (IBKR) for execution. Responsibilities: ● Develop, backtest, and optimize quantitative trading strategies. ● Build and manage automated trading bots. ● Implement real-time trading connections with Interactive Brokers (IBKR). ● Analyze and evaluate strategy performance using key metrics such as Sharpe Ratio, Sortino Ratio… Required Skills: ● Proficiency in Python, especially with libraries such as TA-Lib, NumPy, Pandas. ● AI/ML application to determine the high confidence trades ● Train LLM and implement alert for initiating trades and exiting during back test and live trading ● Strong understanding of stocks and options. ● Atleast 5 years of experience in trading platforms and backend testing Additional Nice-to-Haves: ● Experience in low-latency trading system design and optimization. ● Clear documentation skills, familiarity with tools like Sphinx or Markdown. ● Proficiency with Git and version control workflows. Schedule: ● Part-time, flexible hours. ● Expect to get the work done per their schedule, moonlightling allowed Location: ● Remote (anywhere in India) ● Should be able to coordinate with US clients during off peak hours.
